How to Measure Sofa Cushions

To ensure a snug, professional-looking cushion, follow these steps:

• Measure the inside of your cushion cover at the widest points for length, width, and depth.

• When measuring depth (thickness), always add 1 inch extra to the foam.

  • Example: if your cover border measures 4″, order 5″ foam.

• Add dacron wrap and stockinette for the best results – this fills out the cover neatly, gives a plump finish, and makes it easier to insert the foam.
